The original cottage was one story, and because of planing regulations it was lifted up and a new lower floor was added below. The upper floor was gutted and transformed to a Master suite with two kids bedrooms and a kids bath. A stair was added to the side of the house with windows on three sides. The new lower level has an open floor plan consisting of the living room, dining room, family room and kitchen. Then there is a separate home office / guest room with an adjacent bath. The existing garage in the rear was converted to an artist studio and there is a new garage in the front. Beautiful views of the ridgeline and the private yard are visible from every room.
